Day of Bus Tours

Yesterday was our day of driving around in the bus and visiting the castles and World War II memorials. I started off the day by waking up at 6:30am, i had my muesli and coffee for breakfast then headed off on my hour commute to school.I first have to walk 5 minutes to the bus stop, then catch the 18 bus and take that through uptown Luxembourg then through downtown Luxembourg to the train station, where i catch the 750am train. The first song that i heard playing on the bus was "ain't that america" which i thought was kind of silly since they obviously laugh/ aren't too fond of americans yet they watch our tv shows and listen to our music. It took about 45minutes to get to Differdange where Miami's campus is. I'm not sure how i will do every morning with this hour long commute, im not really a fan. Most of the other people in the program are in Differdange so they just have a 5 minute walk to campus. We then toured the Chateau, grabbed our lunched bags and were off on the buses to roam the countryside. For lunch we simply had a baguette, cheese, 2 slices of tomato, apple, and chocolate. The water is fairly expensive here and according to my host mom, their tap water is fine only every once and a while sand comes out of the faucet... :-/ so i will have to look out for that haha. By the end of the day i was so tired, I had to meet up with my host family at the train station and wasn't able to take my normal 18 bus back home because it was Luxembourg City Annual Marathon so all the streets were blocked off. Today is our day to spend with the host family. Yvonne was telling me that i have till 12 to sleep in then we will tour LUX city. I have homework due already too, have to take a picture of something european, which won't be hard to do. I'm still waiting to be able to get a donkey photo, although their cat frank has come in the last 2 nights and slept at my feet, he is very friendly. So Äddi for now!
